XPS Viewer - Read XPS and OXPS Documents App Reviews

Something bothering me finally has been resolved. I have been looking for a useful app to open XPS files perfectly. I am so luckily to find this app. It is useful!

Amazingly simple! I am very impressed with the elegance of use too!

No useful errors logged, no UI error — just disappears.

I bought this because of all the good reviews, but was disappointed. I don’t know if there’s been a recent change in XPS formats or something? but. . . Some of the output text on opened XPS files (generated in the last month or two) was illegible, with some characters on top of others. PDFing the file didn’t help, nor did copying/pasting into a text window. Some of the other text was very hard to read because it put one space between each pair of characters, whether the characters were i n t h e s a m e w o r d o r n o t. Some of the text was OK. Unfortunately, some of the messed-up parts happened to be important parts. I’m disinclined to ascribe the problems to “garbage in,” because the same XPS files came out legible on my PC and finally on the Mac with XPSView Lite. Interestingly, XPS Reader, the next app I tried after this one, had the exact same problems, in the exact same places, that this app had.

It is really a powerful XPSviewer. It can help me to open and view XPS and OXPS files quickly easily on my Mac. I have many XPS files, it opened them perfectly. And I also can use this app to manage my XPS FILES WITH BOOKSHELF.It cant be more convenient! More important, this app supports Yosemite! I updated my Mac to Yosemite last week and I need a XPS viewer supporting Yosemite. This app did it!

I took the XPS Printer’s file output (Windows) and was able to convert it to a reasonably good conversion of my original document with my Mac. Very specific application, but worked for my specific purpose.

This app is best XPS Viewer I ever met. I like its nice interface which keeps my eye get refreshed, and to be the point, it works fast while I open my multiple XPS files, it is not just a Viewer, but also a XPS to PDF and image converter. So powerful with such cheap price.

This is the best tool to view .xps files I think, it is simple, cheap yet capable, helps me open, view and export .xps files easily and quickly. Thumb up!

This is a beautiful and decent app, it come with a clean and intutive interface letting me feel good. And it is most outstanding at its XPS files reading and converting functions, performs good results, this point makes me feel much realiable and happy.

Tiny yet professional, I like it. And this great app really helps me out of piles of XPS files, its excellent features lets me easily and quickly open and view files, I can select the important pages of the document and convert partially to PDF format, works fast, great!

This tool is very light and easy-to-use, lets me quickly open XPS files with simple clicks, it is the best tool for quick visualization of certain pages for multi-page documents, lots of featues are pretty helpful as what the introduction said above.

I like this app, it indeed helps me a lot on reading XPS business files, and it runs pretty smooth on my mac without any laggish.

I feel happy to get this app. It is cheap yet professional. I use it to trim and polish my personal Guita recorder, and save in the format compatible for my iPod player.

When I opened an XPS file it was blank. Strange. Wish it had worked.

I downloaded this for use in my work (independent contractor) when clients provide documents in .XPS format. The applicaiton did open the documents, but displayed them incorrectly: In several areas text elements overlaid each other making them unreadable; diagrams included in the documents — and essential for the work I was contracted to do — failed to render at all.

It is a very simple and intuitive application to read XPS(XML Paper Specification, *.xps) and Open XML Paper Specification, the conversion quality is also good, I highly recommend it to those who need it for your busy work.
